Project files stay local

The editor keeps the current chart in this browser's local storage so it can recover after a refresh. Its storage key is stitchpico:project:v1. Your title, stitches, settings and imported project files are handled in the browser. StitchPico does not upload them to a server or provide an account or cloud sync.

Save project downloads a JSON-based project file to your device. Opening a project reads the file you choose in your browser. SVG, PNG and PDF exports are generated from your chart for you to download.

Browser storage can be cleared by you, your browser, or a device setting. Download a project file if you need a durable copy. Your browser or operating system may handle downloaded files according to its own settings.

First-party page visit counts

On a deployed StitchPico site, the server's first-party analytics count page views and broad visitor categories. This is separate from chart editing: the collector receives page request data, not your chart, title, stitches or imported files. A local file preview has no server collector.

The collector uses the request IP address and browser identifier briefly to calculate a one-way visitor count with a random salt that changes each Beijing day. The analytics database does not save raw IP addresses, full browser identifiers, full referral URLs or cookies. It keeps a limited page path, broad device and browser categories, country when available, and a referrer host where applicable.

Raw analytics events are deleted after 14 days. Daily aggregate counts are retained longer. This first-party page counting uses no third-party analytics service, tracking SDK, or advertising cookies; optional Google Analytics traffic measurement operates under the regional policy described below.

Optional analytics and cookies

This site may offer optional Google Analytics 4 to understand general traffic trends under regional privacy policies: in regions requiring prior consent (EEA, UK, Switzerland, and conservative jurisdictions) or where visitor region is unknown, measurement only activates if you explicitly choose Allow in the footer settings. In other recognized regions, measurement is enabled by default with opt-out available at any time via the footer settings (remains off if storage is blocked). If your browser sends a Global Privacy Control (GPC) or Do Not Track (DNT) signal, Google analytics remains completely inactive. Opting out or withdrawing consent at any time never restricts access to any tool.

When enabled, Google Analytics uses pseudonymous cookies (such as _ga, expiring in up to 180 days) to distinguish unique visits, and your choice is remembered in localStorage for up to 180 days (or temporary memory if storage is unavailable). Google receives standard connection metadata, including your IP address, browser type, device details, referring domain, and clean page addresses without chart data or fragments. Advertising features, Google Signals, and ad personalization are disabled with no cross-site identification; network requests transmit your IP address to Google to facilitate the connection, and data may be processed on servers outside your country by Google and its affiliates. Google Analytics is configured to limit user-level and event-level data retention to 2 months with reset on new activity disabled; standard aggregate reports may remain longer. Cookie consent choice and pseudonymous cookies expire in up to 180 days, while first-party server telemetry retains raw events for up to 14 days and daily aggregate counts for up to 90 days. You can opt out or withdraw consent at any time via the footer settings; doing so immediately stops data collection and clears Google analytics cookies without removing your saved charts.

When you email us

If you write to contact@stitchpico.com, the message is received by the email routing service of Cloudflare, which passes it on to the mailbox our operators read, hosted by Google (Gmail), and also hands a copy to a small program we run on Cloudflare, which keeps it only until our own server has fetched it — normally within minutes and never longer than 14 days. Our server, hosted by Google Cloud in the United States, keeps your email address and name, the subject, the text of the message, the technical headers and the names and sizes of any attachments (not the attachments themselves) in our internal support list for up to 180 days and then deletes them. Cloudflare's delivery log records the sender and recipient addresses, the subject and the result of the delivery for about a month. We use your message only to answer you, keep it only as long as we need it and delete it when you ask us to.

Your choices

You can export a project file and clear this site's browser storage using your browser settings. Clearing it removes the editor's saved recovery copy on that browser. You can continue designing without an account.
